Mechanical properties and thermal stability of microstructure of ultrafine grained CP Ti prepared by ECAP were investigated. A series of specimens after 1 to 10 passes through ECAP die with the channel angle of 120° at 350°C were prepared. The dependence of microstructure evolution with strain imposed by ECAP pressing and the stability of ultrafine grained microstructure during isochronal aging were examined using microhardness measurement and scanning electron microscopy. Moreover, in-situ electrical resistivity during linear heating was measured. The properties of the deformed material were compared to a well annealed condition.
