The 21 century means new technology concerning the obtaining primary metals with high purity and after those materials with good properties for industry and life. Important change has been made during the last years in the management of the industrial processes concerning the liquid state treatment before casting, of the metals and nonferrous alloys. A new approach was necessary ,taking into account the progress in knowledge of physic-chemical phenomena at melting ,alloying ,refining of metals and higher requirements of performing industries to use purer metallic materials. The present paper treats the properties of fluxes used at reefing lead alloys, after the electrolytic refining operation of the lead. We described generally use of fluxes in melting and treatment of metallic bath and the electrolytic process.
